If you're a TCU football fan, this is your perfect football weekend sweater. It's a cocoon super hot style that is the perfect topper with boot cut or skinny jeans. Moreover, it balances out pear shape figures [and most ladies fit this category]
by adding volume above the hips!
Silver metallic stripes give it a little glam which you can play up or down depending on your choice of shoes and accessories. For a night out, pop this cocoon sweater over black leggings, a purple dress or a silver sequin top.

Okay, we don't exactly have crispness in the air, but we do have a few turning leaves and football season is underway. Those are reasons enough to think about fall fashions.
A great first pick for fall are these light weight stretch knit POINT Sweaters that will be perfect to have in your closet when the first crisp fall morning does arrive. They feature an abstract animal print in a mix of grey and black [shown] and are also available in camel/chocolate. And if you haven't heard, camel and grey are some of the IT shades for this season.
These long sweaters which are the perfect updater for many of the basic black, grey or brown pants and skirts hanging in your closet. [You know there's great advice about shopping your closet before you go shopping.] That way you know what you have to work with and what you need to change.
And, these longer sweaters are just right with jeans, jeggings and leggings as well as lightweight and packable for weekend trips. Fashion and versatility for just $45! Sizes sm, med and lg.

This is the perfect all-season handbag and I now have it in stock in Expresso [shown] and Purple! The Expresso will go great with your brown and camel fall basics and I personally think it is striking with grey and navy.
It's love at first sight. This bag is roomy, dramatic and very feminine. And either one of these colors not only work for now, they'll work all year round! And at $65 you have you super buy.

The military look heats up for Fall 2010 and camouflage is an important part of the continuing hot trend. This cute one-shouldered camo tunic is how I weigh in on the trend right now with a feminine approach. It looks much cuter on than on the hanger!
I will advise that it needs to be layered over a cami or tube top because the draped shoulder forms a very deeply scooped out arm hole and if you raise your arm, you'll need a cami! That said, this looks great with skinny khaki or black leggings.
Catch the markdowns! I've marked down most summer tops and all summer scarves...many are now $15 or less including the cute polka dot top by Timing shown above.

What a fun summer we've having and scooping up a few new tops to the wardrobe is a great way to enjoy the splash of summer color and new graphic designs. I also have some skinny silk scarves that you can tie lots of ways.
I've just added some flare tunic tops that are perfect over shorts, leggings and jeans...they make your waistline disappear. What's not to like about looking thinner in the mirror? Check them out!

I also have a rack of $15 and under tops including lots of summer's hottest shade of blue including tops trimmed with crochet, camis and great little bow back tees!

So cute! I love these overalls from Sacred Threads. They're great to wear now over a tank top or cami, then wear them right on into fall with short or long sleeve tees. I like them because they hint at the romper look without being as much trouble to get in and out of as a romper or jumpsuit. And,you can adopt them as part of your look no matter what your age.
They're available in embroidered solids, blue batik print, a colorful patchwork tribal print and a shabby chic patchwork! Whether you're dashing to the grocery,or running a summer carpool they're fun and hip and very comfortable. Matching Mom and Me overalls are available in some fabrics.

Love the lace trend for now into spring and summer! What better way to wear it than in a soft vintage feel knit tunic, not tee, in a perfect shade of ballet pink. It is just right as a pastel contrast with a long black skirt, leggings or skinny denim jeans. Or pop it on with a beige or ivory skirt. I have a few of these left and you can snap them up at 20% savings.
Love at first sight? Believe it! This leather handbag stole your heart at first glance. From its high fashion profile to its metallic leather finish, here’s a handbag that creates instant chemistry with its easy sophistication and attention to details.
See this "Amour" handbag, along with a collection of Black Tangerine "Retro" and "Magical Realism" designs in my shoppe in Brownstone Village. Markdowns have been taken just in time for Valentine's Day gifting.

In February the weather still lends itself to inside reflections, good books, old movies, a dose of Reality TV [Project Runway, Launch My Line, The Bachelor, and yes American Idol] and lots of web surfing. While we're still bundling up in cozy scarves and layers, it doesn't mean that we can't fast forward to thoughts of warmer days as we filter in some soft ballerina pinks, beigey pinks, ivory, alabaster, beige and grays.
[At The Brownstone I have some wonderful crinkled scarves in ivory and natural as well as some ombre charcoal mufflers and amazingly soft woven yarn beige and ivory scarves.]
I love a cozy tunic with leggings and gray or black are the perfect background that we all love. Some of the casual clothing that I am most attached to in winter are grey. There's something very comforting about the color and the more textures the better. Sweats, camis, thermal tops in light gray, a sweat shirt in charcoal as well as a gray cashmere sweater, long and short sleeve cotton tees and tops and charcoal yoga pants, a great knit tunic and a gray knit sweater dress. Wearing gray is relaxing...cacooning at its best. It's also the only phsychologically neutral color.
I am also loving all of the drapey designs in tops, tunics and dresses and hope that they are with us for awhile. [At the Brownstone I have some gray drape front dresses that are sleeveless, but perfect for layering right now.]
